Report:

On 07 May 2025, Ms. Khadiza Khatun, the Upazila Nirbahi Officer, visited SBK Union Parishad to inspect various ongoing activities. During the visit, she reviewed the administrative operations, social safety net programs, educational institutions, healthcare services, road infrastructure, and the status of ongoing government projects.

Present during the visit were Union Parishad Chairman Mr. Md. Arifan Hasan Chowdhury, UP members, Gautam Biswas (Administrative Officer), Accounts Assistant, Village Police Force, Digital Center Entrepreneur, and other local dignitaries. The UNO listened to the concerns and demands of the local residents and assured them of prompt action where necessary.

She emphasized the importance of transparency, accountability, and quality service delivery in the functioning of the Union Parishad.


Recommendations:

Enhancement of office maintenance, service delivery processes, and grievance redress mechanisms of the Union Parishad.

Necessary steps to be taken for the approval of road development projects.

Special initiatives are required to increase public awareness in the fields of education and healthcare.

Strengthening the activities of the Union Digital Center.


Conclusion:

This visit provided a comprehensive overview of the challenges and potentials of SBK Union. Relevant departments have been instructed to take appropriate measures based on the findings of the visit.
